The range will cover applications where noise levels of NR25 are required with duties up to 7.0 kW cooling at external static pressures in excess of 100 Pa. Energy Technique plc, the Aim listed company, which owns Diffusion Heating and Cooling has concluded a deal with the Administrators of SIAS Building Services LLP to acquire its building services maintenance interests. The new company will trade as SIAS FM Limited.

Significant progress has been achieved in the half year to 30 September 2009 in expanding the Company’s product and service offerings.

Diffusion, fan coil and commercial heating manufacturer, based at West Molesey in Surrey, has recently concluded a deal with the Administrators of Benson Environmental, based in mid Wales and at the Hamble in Hampshire. The deal saw Diffusion acquire certain assets and intellectual property along with a number of live projects. Diffusion has acquired extra space at its Surrey factory to accommodate the extra work and new product lines.

Leigh Stimpson, Managing Director at Diffusion says; "The acquisition of certain intellectual property has increased our product offering to include air handlers, twin fan extract units and heat recovery products. This will compliment a soon to be acquired range of grilles and chillers. We expect to be able to offer complete packages to our customers before the autumn."

Diffusion are proud to announce that we have been awarded sole national specification for the supply of Air Curtains, Fan Convectors and Ceiling Ventilation units to Marks & Spencer and Aldi projects for 2009/2010.

Diffusion have recently been supplying seven of the Knowsley Joint Venture BSF projects with a total of one thousand units. Diffusion have worked closely with Balfour Kilpatrick, Balfour Beatty and Faber Maunsell from the early design stages of the project to ensure that the most cost effective and climate friendly solution has been applied.

Units manufactured and supplied by Diffusion ranged from fan coil units, fan convectors and heater and cooling batteries. The cased fan convectors were a bespoke solution designed by Diffusion especially for this project.

Increased demand for Diffusions products has driven the decision to invest in a new ‘state-of-the-art’ laser cutting machine. The Trumpf Trulaser 2030 machine, installed in our West Molesey manufacturing facility in November 2008, greatly increases our production capacity and is environmentally friendly.

Utilising the most up to date Radan CAD CAM software promotes raw material utilisation and increases the flexibility of component part profiling. The fully automated load and unload facility grants the possibility of the machine to run during the night unsupervised, resulting in reduced waste, energy and overhead costs.

I am pleased to report another profit before tax for the half year to 30 September 2008 of £215,000 (2007: £502,000).

I am very pleased to report a profit before tax in the year to 31 March 2008 of £0.53 million (2007: profit of £0.39 million), representing an increase of 34.8% over the previous year.

Diffusion recently held a product promotion at the Institute of Directors. It was well attended by a cross-section of the M & E building services world.

I am very pleased to report a profit before tax in the first half year to 30 September 2007 of £0.50 million (2006: profit of £0.17 million), representing an increase of nearly 200% over the corresponding half year.

I am delighted to announce an excellent set of trading results for the year ended 31 March 2007, with a reported profit after tax of £0.45 million and a 22% improvement in sales on Continuing Operations to £8.40 million.

Diffusion is reporting a 26% increase in sales within the last 12 months, an upswing in profits and signs of a more buoyant market place.
